Twiggy Floor Lamp
The Twiggy Floor Lamp has been created by Marc Sadler for the brand Foscarini. French industrial designer Sadler pioneered experimenting with different materials and production methods. These have become hallmarks of his pieces. The result is always a product with an unexpected twist. This is exemplified in the Twiggy Floor Lamp. Sadler's unique touch on this lamp is the detachable rod made of coated fibreglass-based composite material that brings a fishing rod to mind. A system of counterweights makes it height adjustable. The rod is anchored in an epoxy-coated disc-shaped base. At the end of it, the rod holds a round diffuser. It casts a direct light downwards as well as an indirect reflection toward the ceiling. The transparent upper protection disc made of translucent polycarbonate casts a cosy, ambient light.
The Twiggy Floor Lamp has a diameter of 46cm, a maximum length of 170cm and a height that ranges from 195cm to 215cm depending on how it is positioned. The white lamp has a maximum height of 205cm. The cable has a length of 330cm and has a dimmer that can be used as the on/off switch as well as to adjust light intensity. The appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
