Tru LED Floor Lamp
The Tru LED Floor Lamp was designed by Roberto Paoli for the manufacturer Nemo, a Milanese company whose signature style embraces sleek, economic lines and pioneering new technologies.
This approach and aesthetic ideal is shared in equal measure by Milan-based designer Roberto Paoli, who matches the love of bold experimentation with a rigorous eye for detail. Whilst maintaining a busy freelance career, he has curated numerous exhibitions and served on the judging panels of prestigious design competitions. He has been the recipient of an Interior Innovation Award and multiple Chicago Interior Design prizes.
Nominated for the Compasso d'Oro and the Excellent Product Design Awards in 2015, the Tru LED Floor Lamp from Nemo measures 185cm in height and 12cm in width. All right angles, unadorned straight lines and hard, flat extruded aluminium, it has a coolly industrial appearance that's further underlined by its minimalist monochrome finish. However, all of this is offset by the soft pools of indirect light which it creates via the LED modules set into its top and sides behind diffusers of acrylic glass. Balancing coldness and warmth, boldness and understatement, the Tru LED Floor Lamp is a great fit for a range of contemporary dwellings.
