Sorry Giotto 3 LED Floor Lamp
The Sorry Giotto 3 LED Floor Lamp was created by Enzo Catellani for the Italian label Catellani & Smith.
The Sorry Giotto 3 LED Floor Lamp works both as a piece of sculpture and as a light fitting. Standing 220cm tall, the design features three rings with diameters of 40cm, 50cm and 60cm. Based on Giotto's circle, an iconic antidote from the world of Renaissance art, these three rings appear to balance on each other. The lamp's name "Sorry" is a humorous apology to Giotto, who was reputed to be able to draw the perfect circle freehand. The rings are made from hand-painted copper and sit on a stable base of iron measuring 35 x 20 cm. The Sorry Giotto 3 LED Floor Lamp, with its perfect blending of sculpture and lighting, is complemented by the Sorry Giotto Table Lamp.
