U-Turn LED Table Lamp
This neat and versatile U-Turn LED Table Lamp was designed by Michel Charlot for the Swiss lighting manufacture Belux.
Belux was established in 1970 to develop lighting solutions for the industrial sector, and later switched into creating designer lighting for homes and businesses. Collaboration with renowned designers such as Hannes Wettstein resulted in the Snodo and Ball lights. Later creations, including the energy-saving Updown light from Reto Schöpfer and Meter By Meter by Matteo Thun, bolstered the company's reputation. In the millennium, the firm focused on LED and launched the celebrated U-Turn, Verto and InLine collections.
The U-Turn LED Table Lamp exhibits total adjustability which makes it both fun and flexible. As the light can be turned in any direction, it can be used for accent or ambient lighting as desired. It achieves its ends through the use of a magnetic ball joint. The lamp head is fashioned from die-cast aluminium and the body from hardy polycarbonate PC . Measuring 32.2cm in height and with a shade diameter of 16.5cm, the U-Turn LED Table Lamp is highly portable and can be positioned on the floor, shelf or sideboard, as well as on tables throughout homes or commercial premises.
