Tangent Table Lamp

An experimental study on how tubes and proportion can be used together inspired the idea behind the Tangent Table Lamp by Fredrick.
The lamp is made of a combination of steel tubes and glass. In its layout, two steel tubes meet at a tangential contact point. The large tube works as a lampshade while the small tube acts as a space for the electrics. On the upper part of the inner tube is an opal glass shade for covering the bulb to ensure a clear formation of soft light when the lamp is switched on and an apparent visual effect from one cylindrical tube when the lamp is turned off. It has a height of 34cm and a diameter of 20cm.
