Profiterolle Table Lamp
The Profiterolle Table Lamp has been created by Sergio Asti for the brand Martinelli Luce. Introduced in 1968 and crafted to resemble a bowl of the famous dessert, the Profiterolle Lamp is playful, visually stunning and also extremely practical. It will add a touch of elegance to any interior tables, and whether it decorates a dining setting or adds light to work studies, this lamp is sure to inspire.
The Profiterolle Table Lamp strikes the eye immediately with its diffuser which has been made from transparent methacrylate plastic and fibreglass crystal. Designed to look just like a bowl of delicious profiterolles, the diffuser casts a gentle light in all directions, seducing everyone who sees it. The diffuser is also secured by a black rubber band around its diameter, while there is a black aluminium base to round off the design.
The Profiterolle Table Lamp measures 40cm high and has a maximum diameter of 60cm, so it will serve well as a dining table centrepiece. The lamp comes with a 240cm long cable and weighs 3kg, while it uses an array of four bulbs to generate light. These bulbs are not supplied and appropriate lamps with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
