Winston Daybed
The Winston Daybed has been created by Eva Harlou for the brand Mater. The Danish architect and industrial designer believes that both professions are both art and science and should result in products that are beautiful, durable and functional. All these qualities and more are clear to see in the Winston Daybed she designed for Mater. The daybed is named after Winston Churchill and it can function as more than a daybed. It can be used for extra seating in a living room or as a bench in an entryway. Made of Oak FSC®® certified and cane, it is a modern take on the classic daybed. The oak is finished with a natural matt lacquer stain. It comes with or without a foldable cushion that is upholstered in natural GOTS certified canvas. The cushion itself is made of a blend of cotton and jute. The detailing on the daybed is telling of the designer's dedication to upholding traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship.
The Winston Daybed has a width of 195cm, a depth of 80cm and a height of 35.5cm. Wherever it is placed, this daybed is sure to be one piece of furniture that is constantly in use.
