Basket Daybed
The Basket Daybed has been created by Søren Rose Studio for the brand Cane-Line. Danish designer Rose takes a multi-disciplinary approach focused on sustainability, style and sensibility. The Basket Daybed exemplifies his use of contrasts, minimalist forms and refined craftsmanship, resulting in a timeless creation.
The Basket Daybed is designed to provide hours of comfortable lounging outdoors, and can be used in conservatories, on balconies, or beside the pool. The bed is built around a frame made from galvanised steel, and this frame has been cleverly concealed beneath a weatherproof woven material. Developed by Cane-Line, this material is made from 100 percent polyethylene and gives the daybed an airy look that's ideal for outdoor settings. A long seat cushion and backrest cushion have been placed above the frame, along with two small side cushions. These AirTouch cushions are filled with quick-drying foam and have been upholstered with weather-resistant fabric which ensures total durability.
The Basket Daybed has a length of 203cm, a width of 105cm and a height of 67cm and it will be comfortably large enough to accommodate two people. It has a seat height of 27cm, has a weight of 15.8kg, and is available in taupe and grey colours.
