Plinth Cubic Side Table
The Plinth Cubic Side Table has been created by Norm Architects for the brand Audo. The Danish brand is known for pieces that honour Scandinavian design traditions and are also contemporary and unique in the details with which they are finished. The Plinth Cubic Side Table is a good illustration of the brand's design ethos. The table's sculptural form and the marble from which it is fashioned give it a sophisticated look and feel. The Plinth marble it is made of is sourced in Portugal. It is assembled by hand to ensure the sides are perfectly lined up, making the table not just something of beauty but also of exceptional quality. Its sculptural lines make a striking contrast to the random veins that reflect light. The table is made of 2cm thick marble plates which have their edges cut at 45-degree angles. Five plates are glued together in mitre joints. These are reinforced for strength and durability. On the underside, the table has a plate made of MDF that has adjustable glides attached to it.
The Plinth Cubic Side Table has a length, width and height of 40cm. It is available in black, white, rose and grey/brown marble. It can be used as a side or bedside table.
