Le Roi Coffee Table

The Le Roi Coffee Table has been created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the brand NORR 11. It is a merge of two different cultures and design traditions which makes for an intriguing, unique piece. It uses materials from the French colonial era to make a stool that follows Nordic design traditions.

The Le Roi Coffee Table has a round tabletop. It has a frame made of solid oak that contains a surface made of rattan. It has been used to make an open, interlocked weave that gives the table a light, delicate look. The tabletop is supported by a frame that is also made of oak and that is finished to match. It has three rather than the customary four legs. The base also has support beams underneath the rattan tabletop so that it can hold the weight of whatever is placed on it. The legs have gliders inserted inside them that raise the table slightly and protect the floor.

The Le Roi Coffee Table has a height of 42cm and a diameter of 60cm. It comes in a natural or dark-stained oak frame. It will make a style statement in a living room which its French and Nordic aesthetic.
