Edge Side Table S
The Edge Side Table S has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. Its design is inspired by traditional nesting tables. The designer's take on it and the material used to make offer a unique new twist.
The Edge Side Table S is made of travertine. It is a natural stone comparable to others like marble and granite. It is similar to them in terms of its sophistication and timelessness. It has a primary colour that has coloured threads weaving through it in random patterns. They are formed with natural mineral deposits. The stone has been curved into a square top. It is the base that supports it that is the show stopper. It is made of slabs of stone. They have been attached in a way that they are stacked to form a sculpturesque pillar-shaped base. It has gliders on each one of the outer slabs.
The Edge Side Table S has a length of 45cm, a width of 45cm and a height of 43cm. It comes in a light-toned neutral colour which is one of the colours travertine naturally comes in. It is important to note that it is untreated. Care should therefore be taken to avoid damaging it by only cleaning it with a damp cloth.
