Edge Side Table L
The Edge Side Table L has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. It is a representation of Nordic design tenets such as minimalism, practicality and functionality. While it fulfils these and other ideals, it also departs from the norm with its geometric base.
The Edge Side Table L is made of travertine. It is a natural stone comparable to limestone and marble. It is just as elegant, with those hallmark veins that give it unique, timeless beauty. It has been sculpted into a square-shaped top. It rests on a base supported by slabs of the same stone. Two large slabs lie horizontally and they take most of the weight of the top. The two are supported by two smaller slabs on each side.
The Edge Side Table L has a length of 80cm, a width of 80cm and a height of 40cm. The table should be cleaned by wiping it with a damp cloth. If a cleaner is used, it should be PH-neutral so it does not damage the stone. To avoid leaving water and heat marks, mugs and glasses should be placed on coasters. Its minimalist, elegant design makes it suitable for use in homes or commercial spaces like offices.
