Duo Side Table
The Duo Side Table has been created by Chifen Cheng for the brand Woud. Cleverly juxtaposing two tabletops in a tiered design, Duo offers a fresh spin on traditional side table forms. Inspired by the concept of identical overlapping circles known as 'vesica piscis', it manages to mix precision, technical brilliance and beauty in one seductive package.
The Duo Side Table features two circular surfaces, both of which measure 45cm in diameter. The upper tabletop is made from smoked tempered glass, while the lower is made from metal, creating a neat contrast. Together, they extend the width of the table to 60cm. The surfaces are supported by four slimline legs that have been made from black painted metal, rounding off the design beautifully.
With its dual tabletop design, the Duo Side Table will be ideal for people who need to mix surfaces for dining and places to store essentials. At 8.8kg it is also light enough to move around the home when needed, so if plants need a little sunlight, it can be placed near windows with ease. The product has a total height of 51cm, which will make it a suitable companion for most armchairs and sofas beds.
