Distinct Side Table
The Distinct Side Table was created by the in-house design team at Ferm Living.
The Danish design brand Ferm Living boasts a vast collection of functional, minimalist and timeless items of furniture and home accessories. Sometimes surprising and sometimes playful, the Distinct Side Table is an example of the brand's practical but unique home solutions. Inspired by Japanese minimalist design, it is an exploration into creating complex shapes using a single material.
This incredibly 'distinctive' table features two levels of surface with the higher surface standing at 50cm high. Both surfaces are held together by a series of three rectangular panel stands, which sit at right angles to each other and to the surfaces. As a side table it can be used in a hallway, living area or even in the bedroom as the two-tiered design adds a statement to any space. The table is ideal for displaying plants, books and ornaments and well as holding a table lamp. The Distinct Side Table is constructed in a choice of durable materials, being available in either travertine or acrylic stone, both of which offer an elegant, natural looking finish.
