In this day and age of gigantic managers desks a fold-out desk is a conscious declaration of individuality.
Konstantin Grcic employed this aspect masterfully when designing Orcus. The reserved, almost demure lines convey a contemplative calm. The writing surface of black leather, a sensuous pleasure for hands and eyes, reminds of earlier periods, when time passed more slowly. Nevertheless allowances were made for electric cables for a lamp or a PC.
Secretary desk made of MDF and plywood, veneered or high gloss lacquered, drop-flap writing surface, 4 drawers, secret compartment, storage space for cables and power adapters. Lockable. Shelves can in some cases be pulled out or adjusted. Frame made of chrome-plated steel. Height adjustable feet.
