The Marcato brothers founded la palma in 1979 creating ranges with a focus on natural and recyclable materials for the home, office and public spaces. Romano Marcato started his career designing high-precision tools for industry and is still involved in every stage of the company's design process.
The Apta Dining Table Fix 198x98cm is a functional piece that displays an understated elegance. The table top is extremely thin and anchored with non-visible supports making it appear to float. This gives the whole structure a light and weightless appearance that is balanced by its dark finish. The table top is crafted from HPL Fenix, a high-pressure laminate coated with synthetic resins and finished with a matte surface that feels velvety to the touch. This scratch-resistant and easy-to-clean surface sits on a solid aluminium frame. The Apta Dining Table Fix 198x98cm works perfectly for home dining rooms and offices or is ideal for meeting and conference rooms. It can be extended as necessary without altering its graceful proportions. Its overall dimensions are 198 x 98 x 74 cm.
