Lotus High Office Chair with Wheels
The Lotus High Office Chair With Wheels was created by Jasper Morrison for the Cappellini label and is a stylish, supremely functional example of contemporary executive furniture.
A&W Designer of the Year in 2016 and recipient of the prestigious Noguchi Award in 2015, Morrison is regularly bracketed amongst the top designers in the world and he has worked with most of the continent's leading brands. Lotus was a collection commissioned by Cappellini in 2006, which sought to harness Morrison's ability to create dynamic, arrestingly original chair designs.
All Lotus products come with swivel bases, padded backs and robust steel frames. This particular Lotus High Office Chair With Wheels offers extra mobility thanks to its five plastic castors and additional comfort via its two well-placed armrests. It's perfect for long stretches of office work, where comfort is vital to aid concentration.
The chair is 122.5cm tall, with an adjustable seat height of 46.5cm. The frame of the chair is made out of high-quality curved beech wood, making it supple and giving it an attractively sinuous form, while the beech has been padded with bands of PU foam to allow the sitter to relax as they work.
