Splitback Easy Chair Oak
The Splitback Easy Chair Oak has been created by Per Weiss and Oliver Weiss Krogh for the brand Innovation Living. Set up in 1971 by Danish designer Flemming Højfeldt, Innovation Living started by making bean bags for the flower power generation. The company has evolved since, and now makes multi-functional furniture using the best Danish design principles. Per Weiss and his son Oliver are multi-faceted creatives who create functional pieces using elevated, innovative designs.
TheSplitback Easy Chair Oak is a good example of function and style. A simple, squared off, arm-less chair sits low on a light oak frame. The cushion is deeply padded for comfort. It features top stitched, defined edging and sits at a relaxed angle that is ideal for lounging. The Splitback Easy Chair Oak's dimensions are 90cm in width, 80cm in height, 96cm in depth, with a 46cm seat height, and the chair is available in a selection of colours. Neutral yet pleasing, the chair can be placed on its own next to a sofa, or in pairs. It also works well with throws and cushions used for highlighting. The chairs could also be pushed together to form a sofa which can also double as an occasional bed.
