Pier System 1012 Wardrobe
The Pier System 1012 Wardrobe has been created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY. This multifunctional storage system is made for urban living. It is easy to assemble, disassemble, reconfigure and recycle at the end of its life.
Although it is made for clothes, the Pier System 1012 Wardrobe is a flexible unit in terms of what it can be used for. Made of steel and aluminium, it has a shelf with a rail underneath for hanging clothes. There are also shelves underneath. The unit is divided into two equal parts. Each side has an upper section that has the rails and two punched steel shelves stacked on top of each other. It has wheels underneath, making it easy to move even when it is full of items. These different parts can be adjusted making it possible to reconfigure the unit to suit changing needs and preferences.
The Pier System 1012 Wardrobe has a width of 162cm, a height of 209cm and a depth of 31.5cm. With all the possibilities that being able to reconfigure the unit presents, it can be used as a wardrobe in a laundry room, or studio apartment or for additional storage space in a bedroom where the wardrobe space is not enough.
