Knit Coatstand
The Knit Coatstand has been created by Jin Kuramoto for the brand HAY. Knit is a radically simple but visually intriguing coat rack which has been inspired by the form and function of knitted ropes. The clever construction and elegant form makes it the ideal place to store jackets and accessories, and it can be a visual accent for anyone's hallway.
The main body of the Knit Coatstand has three legs which are slightly angled to provide support for the rack's contents. These rods meet at the top of the stand in a knot-like connection, creating a series of upturned hangers for hats, scarves or coats. Everything is made from steel which has been bent and powder-coated with a glossy finish. Various colours are available, including black, grey and pure white.
The Knit Coatstand has a height of 161.5cm, so it should be suitably sized to allow most people to add or remove garments with ease.
