The unique Knaegt Wall Wardrobe was developed by the talented Danish designer Rikke Palmerston for the Woud label.
This Denmark-based design brand is a renowned producer of home accessories, lights and furniture. The first collection by Woud was launched in 2015, and since then the company has collaborated with an extensive list of famous designers including Philip Bro, Steffen Juul, and Rikke Palmerston, the creator behind Knaegt Wall Wardrobe. After the wardrobe was launched, Palmerston?s craftsmanship was recognized across the UK with the FSC® Award.
This wall-mounted wardrobe is an object lesson in integrating sustainability into simple aesthetics and pure functionality. Comprised of individual rods made of solid oak and weighing 1.3kg, it can be packed flat for transportation. With a distinctive silhouette, the Knaegt Wall Wardrobe by Rikke Palmerston brings a holiday mood into a home. It further creates a dynamic appeal when attached to the wall in hammock style using two leather straps that bind together the wooden sections. With dimensions of 87.5 x 35 x 28.5 cm, this flexible wardrobe is best used as a hat rack and clothing hanger. Its dynamic and robust shape changes when clothes are hung upon it.
