Workshop Chair

The Workshop Chair has been created by Cecilie Manz for the brand Muuto. The Danish industrial designer creates pieces that are minimalist and have clean silhouettes as is the norm with Nordic design tradition. However, she brings to her pieces detailing that adds visual appeal that is timeless. This is evidenced in the Workshop Chair. It is her playful take on the classic wooden chair. It has a backrest with a curved upper edge and a square-shaped seat that has a circular curve on the inside. Another subtle detail is the grain of the wood which is visible on the veneer-skinned back and seat. The chair rests on a frame that is made from Oregon pine or oak finished with a clear or a black lacquer.

The Workshop Chair has a height of 79.2cm, a width of 39.8cm and a depth of 46.3cm. Its seat height is 45cm. Glides for the legs can be purchased separately. This classic chair can be used around a kitchen or dining table and in commercial settings such as restaurants and cafeterias.
