J77 Chair Beech
The J77 Chair Beech has been created by Folke Palsson for the brand HAY.It is a reconfiguration of the original design from the 1960s. It has been updated with contemporary materials and a sturdier frame that is even longer lasting.
The J77 Chair Beech is made of FSC®-certified beech wood and beech veneer. It is finished with water-based lacquer which qualifies it for classification as a Sustainable Choice product. Comfort is guaranteed by the high, wide backrest. It has a solid, rounded piece of wood for an upper edge and spindles for the backrest. The seat is also wide. It has corners that are turned up ever so slightly making it possible to really settle in and relax completely. The base is also made of beech wood that is finished to match the shell. It is supported by sturdy, rounded legs. Rather than straight, they are outspread just enough to enhance the chair's strength and stability by increasing its surface area.
The J77 Chair Beech has a width of 43cm, a height of 79cm and a depth of 43cm. Its seat height is 44.5cm. It is made for dining but it can also be used behind a desk in a home office. It comes in a selection of neutral or bright colours.
