Slab Barstool
The Slab Barstool has been created by Tom Dixon for the brand Tom Dixon. Working out of his studio in London, British industrial designer Dixon chooses to follow his instincts and impulses rather than convention or tradition. They often lead him to new paths in the form of unexampled, original designs that give a space a whole new look. The Slab Barstool is a good representation of his approach and his design talent. Made of solid oak and finished with a matte lacquer, the stool has a round seat that is supported by a frame made of matching oak. The three legs are slabs that are joined to form a tripod-style base. A ring made of sturdy cast iron goes around the legs to form a most unique footrest, and this also enhances the stool's durability and stability.
The Slab Barstool has a length of 53cm, a width of 53cm and a height of 76cm. It has a diameter of 35cm and a seat height of 76cm. It is available in a choice of finishes. This original stool is suitable for use in homes and also commercial spaces such as bars and cafeterias.
