New Antiques Barstool
The New Antiques Barstool has been created by Marcel Wanders for the manufacturer Moooi. With its sculptural look, it can be considered its own piece of art as well as a barstool. The material it is made of makes it suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
The New Antiques Barstool is made of polyethylene 'PE'. It is the plastic that is most commonly used for industrial applications. This is because it is lightweight, strong and hardwearing. The barstool has a round seat that has a foam-filling seat pad. The stool then narrows down and widens out again giving the stool a series of curves and arches. Its look replicates that of a chess piece. It has a hook on the upper part of it that can be used for hanging bags and other small items. Towards the bottom, it has a semi-circular step that can be used to get up to the seat.
The New Antiques Barstool has a height of 76cm and a diameter of 36cm. It is available in light and dark-toned neutral colours. The barstool can be used in the house and outside. It will provide not only comfortable seating but also add intriguing style to a space.
