In Between SK7 Barstool
The In Between SK7 Barstool has been created by Sami Kallio for the brand &Tradition. Finnish designer Kallio's approach to design is to translate classics into modern pieces that have an industrial aesthetic. He combines this with handcrafting which results in pieces that embody both Tradition and modernity. It shows in the In Between SK7 Barstool that really is in between the old and the new. However, it is the shape of the wood veneer panels that leave spaces in between that inspired its name. Made of solid oak and form pressed oak veneer, it stands out with the gaps in between the armrests and the crescent-shaped back. It has foot rests on the side and in front. Traditional woodcraft techniques like wood turning and compression moulding are used to achieve this. The result is a bar stool that is solid and at the same time, light and balanced.
The In Between SK7 Barstool has a width of 58cm, a depth of 54cm and a height of 92cm. It has a seat height of 65cm and an armrest height of 88cm. It is ideal for use both in homes at the kitchen counter and commercial spaces like bars and cafes.
