Proust Outdoor Armchair
The Proust Outdoor Armchair has been created by Alessandro Mendini for the brand Magis. This extravagant chair has all the trimmings for luxurious time spent outdoors. Made of rotational-moulded polyethene, it has a high wide backrest complete with elaborate embellishment in the form of arcading that is most commonly seen on antique furniture. The outer edge of the seat has the same design. The chair's legs are curved which plays up its look of opulence.

This eliminates the need for joints and fasteners which gives the chair a clean, uncluttered profile. It also enhances its strength and durability.
