Ray Suspension Lamp
The Ray Suspension Lamp was designed by the PEDERJESSEN design studio for the manufacturer Mater.
Danish homeware and furniture manufacturer Mater specialises in high-quality, design-led items made with the utmost craftsmanship and ethical, sustainable principles. Pieces from this brand are built to last and are designed with timeless minimalist aesthetics, such as the flagship Ray lighting range, a collection created by the industrial design team at the Danish PEDEJESSEN studio.
The Ray Suspension Lamp features two contrasting materials, steel and FSC® certified oak. The steel aspect of the shade partly encases an inner oak bulb casing, which can be adjusted to direct the light where needed. Suspended from a 200cm textile cord, this lamp is ideal in rooms with high ceilings, used over dining tables or in the hallway. The light uses an LED bulb, which is included. The Ray Suspension Lamp is available in two sizes, the smaller with a shade diameter of 11.9cm and the larger with a shade diameter of 15cm. The suspension lamp is part of a larger collection that includes the Ray Table Lamp, Ray Floor Lamp and Ray Wall Lamp.
