Promotion Masters Metallic Armchair + Fur
The Promotion Masters Chair + Fur was designed by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet for Italian manufacturing company Kartell.Kartell is widely recognised for its novel, outside-the-box plastic furniture design.
Philippe Starck began his career designing inflatable seating. In recent years he has designed for Fossil, Microsoft, Puma and Vitra and has won the Compasso d'Oro and the Red Dot Design Award. Eugeni Quitllet gained recognition for his 'tube chair' design in 2015. Quitllet was awarded Designer of the Year by Maison&Objet in 2016. The Promotion Masters Chair + Fur is a clever blend of romance and functionality in an innovative outdoor chair. The hollow-legged plastic chair mixes three chair designs: the Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen, Tulip armchair by Eero Saarinen and Eiffel Chair by Charles Eames, to embody a sense of glamour. The chair's design has been carefully complemented with a plush seat covering, made from lambskin.
The Promotion Masters Chair + Fur is constructed from durable plastic. The dimensions of the chair are 84cm high, 57cm wide and 47cm deep. The height of the seat is 46cm. The chairs are fully stackable and suitable for outdoor use.
