Projecteur 165 Clip Lamp
This classic Projecteur 165 Clip Lamp was created by legendary designer and modern architecture pioneer Le Corbusier all in 1954 for lighting solutions manufacturer Nemo.
Le Corbusier's approach to light centres around his fascination with its fundamental relationship with human concepts of beauty and its modes of interplay with foundational shapes such as cones, spheres and cylinders. This focus is at work in the Projecteur 165 Clip Lamp.
Innovative for its time, it now possesses an unmistakable retro chic. This is due, in no small part, to the fact that a great deal of modern lighting design has been borrowed from Le Corbusier himself. Constructed from steel, painted aluminium and opal white diffuser glass, the lamp possesses an industrial charm that doesn't prioritize form over function. A dimmer switch and movable head allow for targeted lighting. The Projecteur 165 Clip Lamp is a relatively compact unit measuring 18cm long and 22cm high with a face diameter of 17cm. It comes without bulbs provided, but the E27 bulb required can be ordered from AmbienteDirect under the section "Accessories & Spare Parts". An ideal enhancement for any wall surface and room ambiance, this lamp has proven its ability to stand the test of time.
