PH Artichoke Suspension Lamp Ø60cm
The PH Artichoke Suspension Lamp Ø60cm has been created by Poul Henningsen for the brand Louis Poulsen. Shaped like an artichoke head, this imaginatively styled pendant lamp will be a delightful addition to dining room settings, as well as lounges and bedrooms.
Henningsen has created something truly unique with the PH Artichoke Suspension Lamp Ø60cm and its related products. The Danish designer has used a series of copper or stainless steel plates, which are connected via a concealed wire framework. These plates reflect and redirect light from the central luminaire, creating a network of shaded sections and bright patches. The result is a glare-free light source which creates unobtrusive indirect illumination while impressing observers with its original aesthetics.
The PH Artichoke Suspension Lamp Ø60cm is 58cm high and has a diameter of 60cm. The lamp hangs from a height-adjustable 400cm long suspension cable, and the product weighs 25kg in total. Two colours are available to choose from including stainless steel and black, and both require a single E27 halogen bulb to generate light. With its visual quality and practical features, PH Artichoke will be a fine centrepiece but can also be used in assemblages for larger spaces.
