Kaiser Idell™ 6631 Luxus Table Lamp brass
The Kaiser Idell 6631 Luxus Table Lamp was designed by Christian Dell for Fritz Hansen.
Fritz Hansen established his Copenhagen design label in 1872, building on his passion for Danish design and handcrafted furniture. Today, designs from this international brand quickly become contemporary classics. Christian Dell d. 1974 was a pioneer in the Bauhaus workshops before focusing on lighting design.
The Kaiser Idell 6631 Luxus Table Lamp is a modern reworking of a classic design from Christian Dell which first appeared in 1936. It features a broad open shade and curved lines that exude elegant warmth. The lamp is very reminiscent of its period but works just as successfully today, complementing both modern and traditional interior decor. It can be adjusted to suit using the base clamp or by turning the shade. The stem and circular base are made from chromed brass while the shade is crafted from steel with a matte finish. The Kaiser Idell 6631 Luxus Table Lamp complements standard, wall and suspension lamps in the same collection and measures 42.5cm in height with a shade diameter of 28.5cm and a base diameter of 19.4cm.
