HMB 25/500 Bauhaus Suspension Lamp
The HMB 25/500 Bauhaus Suspension Lamp has been created by Marianne Brandt and Hans Przyrembel for the brand Tecnolumen. It is one of the best representations of the Bauhaus movement that revolutionised design as a whole. Designed in 1925, it has never lost its appeal.
The HMB 25/500 Bauhaus Suspension Lamp has a dome-shaped shade made of nickel-plating aluminium. The finishing gives it a stately, sophisticated finish. At the top, the shade has additional metallic hardware. Placed one on top of the other, one is a pendulum and the other is a counterweight. They make it possible to adjust the height of the lamp. This makes it suitable for use in rooms of different heights the height can be adjusted to suit the space. On the underside, the shade has a support that holds a light source. It casts a direct white light downwards. It is dimmable.
The HMB 25/500 Bauhaus Suspension Lamp has a height of 260cm and a diameter of 50cm. Its cable is 250cm long. It weighs 4.2kg.It comes in neutral colours with a metallic finish. It works with an E27 socket and a bulb has to be purchased separately. An LED bulb is recommended. Each lamp is numbered consecutively and bears the TECNOLUMEN / BAUHAUS logo.
