Fun 11DM Suspension Lamp
The Fun 11DM Suspension Lamp has been created by Verner Panton for the brand Verpan.It is one of the pieces that the designer is most remembered for. It stands out thanks to the materials it is made of and the way they have been assembled into a functional illuminant with striking visual impact.
The Fun 11DM Suspension Lamp is made up of metallic rings and mother-of-pearl discs. The rings are tiered with the smallest one at the top. There are five rings and they gradually increase in size with the largest one at the bottom. They are chrome-plated which lends the lamp a high-end, sophisticated aesthetic. Using thin steel wire, each ring has mother-of-pearl discs attached to it. They are also attached to each other with the same wires. They form a cascade because of the way the rings are tiered. The overall look is one of timeless elegance that will work in any space including entryways, hallways and over kitchen and dining tables.
The Fun 11DM Suspension Lamp has a height of 44cm and a diameter of 70cm. Its textile cable is 400cm long. It is not dimmable and it comes in neutral colours. It uses an E27 socket and a bulb has to be purchased separately.
