Egon Eiermann designed the SE 18 Folding Chair in 1952, today it is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The frame is made of solid beech wood, especially striking are the conically tapered legs. Seat and back rest are made of multi-layered beech veneer. The chair is robust and comfortable, a folding chair that makes sitting a real pleasure.
