The Chair One Chair With Concrete Base has been created by Konstantin Grcic for the brand Magis. The novelty of this chair will make it a point of focus wherever it is placed. It has an intricate shell that is made of die-cast aluminium. The metal undergoes treatment with sputtered fluorinated titanium and is finished with polyester lacquer. The treatment makes the seat fire-resistant and suitable for use outdoors.
The metal then undergoes a technology-facilitated process of die-casting that cuts it into triangles of varying sizes. These triangles are joined to form a wide backrest and a well-sized seat. The backrest is angled backwards which puts it in a reclining position. The Chair One Chair With Concrete Base has a cone-shaped base that is made of natural or lacquered concrete.
The Chair One Chair With Concrete Base has a width of 55cm, a height of 80cm and a depth of 59cm. It has a seat height of 46.5cm and a backrest height of 80cm. The seat on this chair cannot be rotated. It comes in black, white, grey-green, red, blue and grey. Cushions for the seat only or those that cover the seat and backrest are available for purchase separately.
