Wagenfeld WG 24 Table Lamp
The Wagenfeld WG 24 Table Lamp has been created by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for the brand Tecnolumen. The 1924 lamp is also known as the Bauhaus Lamp. This is because it is one of the best representations of this movement that completely transformed design.
The Wagenfeld WG 24 Table Lamp has a hemispherical shade made of mouth-blown opal glass painted a light colour. The shade is supported by a multi-layered rounded stem. The outer layer is made of clear glass which allows a view of the inner layer that is made of metal and finished with nickel plating. The look is completed with two metallic rings at the top and bottom. A pull string at the top of the stem is used to turn the lamp on and off. It is one of its vintage details. The stem is supported by a round base. It is also made of clear glass.
The Wagenfeld WG 24 Table Lamp has a height of 36cm, a diameter of 18cm and a weight of 1.8kgs. Its base has a diameter of 15.2cm and its cable has a length of 250cm. It cannot be dimmed. The lamp comes in neutral colours with metallic finishes. It works with an E27 socket and a bulb has to be purchased separately. All lamps are consecutively numbered under the bass and bear the Bahaus and TECNOLUMEN logos to show authenticity.
