VL Studio 150 Table/ Floor Lamp
The VL Studio 150 Table/Floor Lamp has been created by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the brand Louis Poulsen. Industrial designer Lauritzen was a trailblazer of Danish functionalism. This movement popularised sculpted furniture and accessories - creating daring designs like the VL Studio 150 Table/Floor Lamp.
The VL Studio Lamp can sit on tables or floors, and has a spherical shade made from triple-layered, mouth-blown opal glass. The diffuser casts a glare-free light in all directions, and is partially encased in a hemispheric section made. This element can come in black matte aluminium or with a brushed brass finish, and it creates a striking contrast with the glass. The design of the diffuser allows the lamp to sit securely at an angle on flat surfaces, and the glass can be removed to change the light source.
The VL Studio 150 Table/Floor Lamp has a height of 14.5cm and a diameter of 15cm. It comes with a 250cm long white or black PVC plastic cable, and an electronic dimmer is included. This lamp will not only cast light but it will add a whole new level of sophistication to indoor spaces.
