VL Ring Crown 5 Suspension Lamp
The striking VL Ring Crown 5 Suspension Lamp was made by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish company Louis Poulsen.
Louis Poulsen was started by Ludvig Poulsen and later taken over by his nephew. The company produces modern lighting fixtures inspired by Scandinavian designs and also uses the concepts of designers from previous generations, including Vilhem Lauritzen. Other than winning several awards for architecture, Lauritzen also designs lighting fixtures.
The designer's VL Ring Crown 5 Suspension Lamp is an outstanding piece made of brass. The brass used to create this fixture is untreated and with time it changes and develops a patina. It has a three layered opal glass shade that is hand blown and has a glossy finish. This helps the lighting fixture to produce warm and soft light for your living spaces.
