PH 80 Floor Lamp
The PH 80 Floor Lamp was created by Poul Henningsen for the brand Louis Poulsen. This lamp stands out with its tiers of inverted shades made of high-pressure moulded white opal acrylic. It casts a diffused, symmetrical light mostly downward. There is the option of lamps that have a white reflector at the top that reflects white light or one with a red reflector that casts coloured light. However, coloured light can be achieved with a coloured light source.
The tiered shades on the PH 80 Floor Lamp that get smaller from the top downwards are supported by a tubular steel stem that is finished with powder coating or chrome plating. The stem rests in a round base made of high-pressure moulded ABS.
The PH 80 Floor Lamp has a height of 131.5cm and a diameter of 55cm. The base has a diameter of 32cm and the cable is 260cm long. The on/off switch that can also be used to dim the lamp is on the cable. It is available with opal white shades with a red reflector and black base, white reflector with a white base or a white reflector and black base. The appropriate bulb requires an E27 socket.
