PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass and Metal
The PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass and Metal has been created by Poul Henningsen for the brand Louis Poulsen. Danish architect and designer Henningsen was a leader of the Scandinavian Modernist Movement and is best known for a series of three-part light designs. The PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass and Metal is part of Henningsen's groundbreaking 1920s collection, and has been updated with new technologies to make it more effective than ever.
The PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass and Metal has three inverted bowl-shaped shades which decrease in size from top to bottom. The clever placement of the shades ensures that the lamp casts a warm light downwards with minimal glare, while limiting dust accumulation as well. In this model, the upper shade is made from black-finished aluminium, while the two lower shades are made from opal glass. The smallest shade at the bottom features a diffuser made of frosted glass.
The PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass and Metal has a height of 30cm and a diameter of 28.5cm, with a weight of 1.9kg. It comes with a 400cm long textile suspension cable is 400cm and comes in a refined and striking black and white colour combination.
