LEM S81 Bar Stool Seat Stainless Steel H88cm
The LEM S81 Bar Stool Seat Stainless Steel H88cm has been created by Shin Azumi and Tomoko Azumi for the brand Lapalma. LEM stands for 'Lunar Excursion Module' - the vehicle which took humans to the moon in 1969. When crafting LEM in 2000, the Azumis were inspired by the Apollo missions, coming up with Space Age designs which look back to classic 60s looks, but also have contemporary appeal.
The LEM S81 Bar Stool Seat Stainless Steel H88cm is part of that lunar-inspired collection. As with other LEM products, it has a distinctive seat with a short back and a front which curves downwards to a slim footrest. The seat is made from moulded multiplex, while the column, frame and base of this model are made from Aisi 304 stainless steel with an electroplated matt chrome finish. The result is a silver aesthetic which evokes space exploration and looks exceptional.
The LEM S81 Bar Stool Seat Stainless Steel H88cm measures 42cm long and 37cm wide, with a seat height of 80cm and a total height of 88cm. The central column can swivel as desired, and the stool weighs 15kg. Felt glides have been placed under the base, reducing slippages and making moving the stool easier.
