LEM S80 Bar Stool Seat Oak 66-79cm
The LEM S80 Bar Stool Seat Oak 66-79cm has been created by Shin Azumi and Tomoko Azumi for the brand Lapalma. Named after the Lunar Excursion Module that took NASA astronauts to the moon, the LEM series has become a modern design classic. The LEM S80 Bar Stool Seat Oak 66-79cm has a wave-like shape, which curves downwards at the front and upwards to form a small back section. The lower part of the seat extends down to create an ergonomic footrest, while the seat is made from a moulded piece of pressed oak. Various finishes are available, including bleached, lacquered and stained, with natural, black and white colours.
In all cases, the oak seat is bordered by a chrome steel frame which connects to a round base via a cylindrical column. This column features a gas spring which allows sitters to choose heights ranging from 66cm to 79cm. The seat of the LEM S80 Bar Stool Seat Oak 66-79cm measures 37cm wide and 42cm deep, while the base has a diameter of 13.6cm and has felt glides on the bottom to make sliding the stool easy.
