In addition to large-scale architecture projects, BIG Bjarke Ingels Group also designs stylish furniture for brands such as Skagerak. The Danish brand was founded in Aalborg in 1976 and stands for Scandinavian simplicity.
With is broad wooden slats and slightly curved shape, the Lilium Garden Chair perfectly reflects this tradition. The seat and back are mounted on an X-shaped steel frame which will beautifully patinate over time to give the chair a stylishly worn-in feel. Named after the scientific name for the lily, a flower symbolising love and happiness, the Lilium Garden Chair is 82.5cm tall with a seat height of 45cm.
