The Serie 7™ Chair Dyed Ash Monochrome has a silhouette that mimics the human form. Another feature that sets it apart is what it is made of which was emerging technology at the time: it is made of nine layers of moulded veneer. The wood grain can be seen, giving it an organic look, unlike the lacquered version from the same brand. The chair has a wide backrest with a straight upper edge. It narrows down from the side before it broadens out into a wide seat, again just like a human body. The seat has sides that are slightly upturned while its lower edge is downturned. The shell is supported by a base made of tubular steel legs with gliders underneath. They are outspread and go slightly over the edge of the seat so the chair can be stacked for storage.
The Serie 7™ Chair Dyed Ash Monochrome has a depth of 52cm, a height of 82cm and a width of 50cm. Its backrest height is 82cm and its seat height is 46cm. A seat mat is available for purchase separately. The chair is available in neutral colours.
