Birdie Grande LED Table Lamp
The Birdie Grande LED Table Lamp has been created by Ludovica Palomba and Roberto Palomba for the brand Foscarini. Compact but full of character, the lamp evokes the appearance of a sapling with a twig branching out from the stem. It's easy to imagine that branching twig serving as the perfect perch for a bird, hence the inspiration for the name.
The Birdie Grande LED Table Lamp has a traditional shade which directs light downwards and outwards, illuminating tables or desks with ease. The shade measures 25cm across at its widest point, while the lamp itself rises to 70cm, making it a relatively large table lamp. A 155cm long cable has also been included, extending the range of the lamp and providing maximum freedom for users to reposition their light as required.
The Palombas have chosen a blend of polycarbonate and metal for the lamp's structure, ensuring a light weight alongside exceptional strength. Moreover, in a neat touch they have also integrated a touch dimmer into the design via the "perch" element. Finally, the Birdie Grande LED Table Lamp has a built-in light source which cannot be replaced, and which delivers a long lifespan and high levels of energy efficiency.
