Aplomb LED Outdoor Suspension Lamp
The Aplomb LED Outdoor Suspension Lamp has been created by Lucidi Pevere for the brand Foscarini. It is aptly named Aplomb because of the poise it lends a space. It won its designer the German Light of the Year in 2011.
The Aplomb LED Outdoor Suspension Lamp has a funnel-shaped shade made of concrete. The unusual material has an intriguing texture. It is not the standard concrete but a special type that is formulated such that it has a dual lighting effect that beams bright light downwards. At the top, it has an aluminium ring that conceals wires and the cable that secures the lamp to the ceiling. The concrete and metal are both able to stand up to the elements meaning the lamp can be safely used outside.
The Aplomb LED Outdoor Suspension Lamp has a height of 36cm and a diameter of 17cm. Its cable is 800cm long and it has a suspension height of 836cm. It is dimmable via a Triac dimmer. It comes in neutral colours. Hanging over an outdoor table, it will cast not only light but a unique style. It is ideal for use not only in homes but also in commercial spaces like restaurants and cafeterias with an outdoor space.
