Kelvin Edge Basis LED Table Lamp
The Kelvin Edge Basis LED Table Lamp was designed by Antonio Citterio for the Flos label. Versatile and elegantly designed, it will be a huge help for office workers and anyone who wants a stylish table lamp for using the computer or reading.
Based in Italy, Citterio has been working in the design field for over 40 years. Initially an architect, he branched out into product design in the 1980s, putting his knowledge of materials and engineering principles to good use. A winner of multiple Compasso d'Oro awards, he works closely with Flos to turn out eye-catching and supremely functional lighting products like the Kelvin Edge Basis LED Table Lamp.
In this case, Citterio has created an Anglepoise-style lamp with a cantilever construction, allowing the user to position it wherever they require illumination. Made from chrome-painted aluminium, the Kelvin Edge lamp weighs 3kg and measures 47.3 x 41.4 x 15 cm. The light source comes via a square diffuser made from photoengraved polycarbonate plastic, while the 8W LED can be dimmed in three settings via a dial on the diffuser's surface.
