Glo-Ball F1 Floor Lamp
The Glo-Ball F1 Floor Lamp has been created by Jasper Morrison for the brand Flos. English industrial designer Morrison considers himself to be a conceptual designer before anything else. Rather than novelty and extremism, he takes the approach of reworking familiar or banal forms into completely new products that look and work differently. His approach and abilities are well represented in the Glo-Ball F1 Floor Lamp. This elegant lamp stands on a grey or black lacquered base made of steel. A metallic stem that is also made of lacquered steel matches the base. At the upper end of the stem is a sphere-shaped diffuser made of hand-blown, flashed opaline glass. It has the unexpected detail of external acid-etching that is gorgeous. It is held in place with a die-cast threaded ring that is finished with alodine plating.
The Glo-Ball F1 Floor Lamp has a height of 135cm and a diameter of 33cm. Its base has a diameter of 33cm. Its cable has a length of 230cm and has an electronic dimmer located on it. The lamp casts a soft, diffused light. The appropriate bulb with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
