Cayouette is the founder of Unit 10 Design, which he launched in Copenhagen in 1999. Brought up in Montreal, Canada, he has found his home in the world of Nordic design, creating items that are simple, useful and attractive - a very Scandinavian set of priorities.
The Theo Milk Jug 0.4L may be just a humble milk jug, but it's an exceptional piece of design. As with all of the items in his Theo collection, Cayouette elected to use matt black stoneware for the jug, creating an organic, natural feel and giving it a depth of tone that is a pleasure to look at.
The form and materials used are traditional, but there's an element of innovation too; the band of silicone wrapped around the neck of the Theo Milk Jug 0.4L ensures that hot milk will remain warm and also makes it easy to grip, rounding off a wonderful design.
